Our roses do not grow by themselves: They also need healthy soil and clean water. That’s why Batian follows these important guidelines:

We collect and store all rainwater from the greenhouses to use during the dry season. Because we are self-sufficient, the local people will continue to have full access to the river and ground water when they need it most.

Every year we plant at least 1,000 trees.

We collect all plastic and take it to a recycling factory.

All leftover plant material is composted.

We actively support local suppliers.
